Things that turn your good day to shit really fast:
- Not being able to visit your oldest friend in the world (who is also 27) in the hospital because she just finished her first round of chemo and is too tired for visitors.
- Calling your sister to talk about a potential visit and finding out that your mother was waiting until you got home to tell you that one of your oldest family friends, who is practically your uncle, went to the hospital and they found a “mass” on his brain. In a place that would “not look good” if it were cancerous.
